The Pope’s Historic Apology

Recently, the Pope made a historic apology for Canada’s Indigenous abuses.

The Pope begged for forgiveness for the Catholic run Residential Schools. Pope Francis heard from Indigenous people who faced terrible abuse in the residential schools system. The Pope asks for the Lord’s forgiveness for these “deplorable” actions of the Catholic church.
